May 8, 2018

On 5th January 2015, FRV received a determination from the Australian Department of the Environment that the proposed Lilyvale Solar Farm project is not a controlled action and does not require further assessment under the Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EBPC Act).

FRV lodged its EPBC referral around the same time as lodging the “Material Change of Use” (MCU) planning application for the project. The MCU application was lodged on 8th December 2014 with the Central Highlands Regional Council. It is anticipated that the outcome of the planning application will be known towards the middle of 2015.
